Yuga Labs Transfers CryptoPunks IP to Infinite Node Foundation

Yuga Labs, the Web3 firm behind Bored APE Yacht Club, has sold intellectual property rights for the CryptoPunks NFT collection to the Infinite Node Foundation. The transfer signals a pivotal moment for one of the most storied digital art projects in blockchain history.

Originally launched in 2017 by Larva Labs, CryptoPunks’ 10,000 pixel-art characters became foundational to NFT culture. The nonprofit Infinite Node Foundation plans to preserve and showcase the collection through academic research, museum partnerships, and physical exhibitions.
